Dr Xu Chi

Deputy Division Director, Digital Manufacturing Division

Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech) & Advanced Remanufacturing Technology Centre (ARTC), A*STAR

Dr Xu Chi is the Deputy Division Director of the Digital Manufacturing Division at A*STAR SIMTech and ARTC, where he oversees R&D strategy and drives capability development for advanced manufacturing. His work focuses on AI-driven predictive analytics and optimization for manufacturing, with solutions successfully deployed and licensed across various industry sectors.

Dr Xu serves as Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-PI on eight competitive research grants, with a total funding portfolio exceeding SGD 20 million. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He received both his PhD and Bachelor’s degree from NTU and has authored over 40 journal and conference publications, including leading AI venues such as NeurIPS, ICLR, IJCAI, ICML, EMNLP.

Shameen Sazali

Shameen is the Programme Manager for SIMTech’s Innovation Factory (IF), overseeing programme delivery, governance and industry collaborations. She has extensive experience working with multidisciplinary teams and industry partners to translate innovative ideas into practical, deployable solutions that deliver meaningful industry impact.

Yan Licheng

Digital Solution Consultant, Siemens

Licheng is a Digital Solutions Consultant at Siemens, specializing in the convergence of Industrial AI and Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity. With a multidisciplinary background spanning engineering, automation, and artificial intelligence, he helps manufacturers accelerate digital transformation through secure, AI-driven industrial solutions.

At Siemens, Licheng leads strategic customer engagements and industry initiatives, advising organizations on the adoption of Industrial AI, Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and OT cybersecurity. He is passionate about helping industrial enterprises harness trusted AI to enhance engineering productivity, optimize operations, and build resilient, future-ready manufacturing environments.
